Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), in partnership with Facebook, to provide their subscribers with a product called Facebook Flex (Freebasics) that allows all MTN users to switch seamlessly between free and data mode.

The Facebook Flex (Freemode) is a fast, ultra lightweight and text-only version of Facebook, specially designed for browsing on a browser enabled device. The Facebook Flex also makes it possible for subscribers to post, chat, comment, like and share contents for free on Facebook. The Facebook flex is not new anymore to Nigerians as it is already available for people using Airtel and 9mobile. Below are the frequent asked questions about the new MTN Facebook flex.

Who Are Qualify To Use The New MTN Facebook Freemode?.

The Facebook Freemode is not based on eligibility. It is meant for both old and new MTN subscribers.

How Can I Activate The MTN Facebook Freemode?.

Facebook Freemode does not require any migration code. Once you run out of data while using the Facebook App, you'll be automatically change to Freemode and you'll be switched back to Datamode the moment you have an active data subscription.
